
Feijoa Frozen Yoghurt
Feijoas are here there and everywhere all of a sudden come April, but they are here for a short time not a long time! So enjoy this delicious way to use up those backyard beauties alongside some great New Zealand Meadow Fresh dairy. Ingredients
- 1 ⅓ cups frozen, diced feijoa flesh
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1 cup Meadow Fresh Kalo Vanilla Bean Yoghurt
- ½ Tbsp maple syrup
Method
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Eat immediately (for a soft-serve style frozen yoghurt) or freeze for 1-2 hours for a more solid consistency.
TIPS
- You can make frozen yoghurt in advance but it will freeze solid after a couple of hours. Remove from freezer and leave at room temperature until it reaches your desired consistency.
