Apple Crumble Porridge

An indulgent porridge to enjoy during the winter months, with a simple recipe - but an apple crumble flavour.

Serves 2



  • 3/4 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Meadow Fresh Milk
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 red apple, grated
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp butter 

Stewed Apple: 

  • 1 red apple, chopped
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp butter 



1. Add the porridge ingredients to a pot and bring to a boil 

2. Once boiling, stir and turn down the heat to a simmer

3. Cook for about 5 minutes or until most of the liquid has cooked through, stirring occasionally throughout 

4. While the oats are boiling, combine the chopped apple, sugar and butter and in a pot. Cook until the apples are well coated and soft. 

5. Divide the porridge into two bowls, top with additional milk, the stewed apples, yoghurt and almond flakes
