S'mores Hot Chocolate

A nourishing turmeric latte recipe which is perfect to enjoy during the winter months. 

Serves 2


  • 115g dark or milk chocolate roughly chopped 
  • 2 digestive biscuits, crushed 
  • 2 - 2 & 1/2 cups Meadow Fresh Original Milk 
  • 1 & 1/2 Tbsp cocoa powder + extra to serve 
  • 2 tsp castor sugar 
  • 6 marshmallows 


Place 25g chocolate in a small microwave-safe dish. Microwave on medium-low in bursts of 30 seconds, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Spread out onto a small plate and place biscuit crumbs onto a second plate. 

Dip the rims of the two glasses or mugs into the chocolate and then into the biscuit crumbs. Set aside. 

Place 2 cups milk, remaining chocolate (90g), cocoa powder and sugar in a small saucepan. Heat on medium-low stirring until chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth and heated through. Add extra milk according to your tastes. 

Toast marshmallows on a foil-lined tray under the grill (watch carefully), or use a blow torch if you have one. 

Pour hot chocolate into prepared glasses or mugs and top with marshmallows. Dust with a little extra cocoa powder. Serve immediately. 


Dark chocolate makes for a richer more decadent hot chocolate. Choose milk chocolate if you prefer a less intense, sweeter version. A combination of both works well too!
