- 1 Cup Tapioca Pearls
- 4 tbs brown sugar
- 1tsp vanilla essence
- 4 bags black tea
- ½ cup Meadow Fresh Milk
- In a saucepan, combine the tapioca pearls, 3 cups of water, 3 tablespoons sugar and vanilla essence. Bring to boil, while continuously stirring until all the sugar is melted then reduce to a simmer.
- Cook the tapioca pearls for 10 – 15 minutes, stirring regularly until the water is completely reduced and you’re left with a dark syrupy liquid. The pearls would have doubled in size and should be soft and black when lifting out of the liquid. Drain the excess liquid before adding to your glass.
- While the tapioca pearls are cooking, brew your tea. Add boiling water to the tea bags and brew until very dark. Add a tablespoon of sugar to sweeten (optional).
- Once the pearls are ready and your tea is brewed, you’re ready to layer your bubble tea. Start with the pearls at the bottom, top with ice, pour over the black tea and finish with a generous pour of Meadow Fresh Milk for a deliciously creamy finish!
